PARTICIPATION IN SIREXE

Chauveau Avocats actively participated in the International Extractive and Energy Resources Fair (SIREXE). In addition to its presence, particularly alongside various clients, Chauveau Avocats was asked to participate in the SIREXE panel on the theme of "Turnkey contracts and development of electricity production capacities - Focus on arbitration situations" The methods of resolving disputes in the context of turnkey contracts for the development of electricity production capacities were examined. Chauveau Avocats was thus able to contribute, in line with its field of expertise, to the discussions, by proposing avenues for reflection in the context of resolving disputes that may arise from turnkey contracts, particularly with regard to the challenges facing Côte d'Ivoire in terms of electricity production. This first edition of SIREXE brought together several national and international companies operating in the mining, oil and energy sectors.
