Expertise on the Legal Challenges of Energy Contracts

Chauveau Avocats actively participated in the International Exhibition of Extractive and Energy Resources (SIREXE). Beyond its presence, particularly alongside various clients, Chauveau Avocats was invited to participate in the SIREXE panel on the theme "Turnkey Contracts and the Development of Electricity Production Capacity – Focus on Arbitration Situations." Dispute resolution methods within the framework of turnkey contracts for electricity production capacity development were examined. Chauveau Avocats was thus able to contribute, within its area of ​​expertise, to the discussions by proposing avenues for reflection on resolving disputes that may arise from turnkey contracts, particularly in light of the challenges facing Côte d'Ivoire in the area of ​​electricity production. This first edition of SIREXE brought together several national and international companies operating in the mining, oil and energy sector.
